Rhema - "I tell you, use worldly wealth to gain friends for yourselves, so that when it is gone, you will be welcomed into eternal dwellings." Luke 16:9
Inspection - From what I see, money is useful. Such as iPods, computers, homes, food, and everything else we own. Everything we see here, and own is worldy wealth. They can be used in a good or bad way. I can use these to show off, and become a popular cool guy. But if I share my possessions, I can make friends and live a better life. Either way, making more friends while owning many goods will bring a better life then being popular and alone. A lonely person is popular anyway, they are always noticed.
Committment - I don't want to be lonely, and be the talk of the story. Ususally people with goods are spoiled. I should share my stuff, letting others use my laptops, listening to my iPod, share my food, my money, and everything else I have. Jesus said to love your neighbor as yourself. My friends live in the same state, we're all neighbors, whether it's neighboring streets, city, state, nations, or even worlds. Everybody that surrounds me, is my neighbor. I gotta learn to use my possessions, to make friends where I will see them in heaven one day. My possessions will rust and be destoryed by moths here on earth.
Exalt - Dear God, thank you for this word. Help me to not be greedy, but share. Let me seek after heavenly treasures instead. You said that moth and rust will destory things here on earth, but things will never be destoryed up in heaven. Let me dwell on eternal things instead. Help me to focus on the eternal, then the reality. I know that one day, I'll apreciate and wish when I'm in heaven that I've shouldn't have wasted so much time. Let me start storing up the good things. Friends are able to come up with me to heaven, but laptops, computers, food, whatever money aren't able. They probably won't even be useful up there, because with friends I can do many things and enjoy each other's fellowship. Let me, store up a huge family in heaven instead.
In Jesus Name Amen.
