1 Corinthian 7: 35 I am saying this for your own good, not to restrict you, but that you may live in a right way in undivided devotion to the Lord.
In 1 Corinthian 7, Paul talks about marriage. He says that we shouldn't look for a wife because that would mean your attention is away from God. Your concerns would not fully be about God but also the world. This goes same for everything else. If your concerned about your future, you would lose faith in God and it drives your attention away from Him.
The Bible says that God will always provide, don't worry about what you need. All I need to do is get down on my knees, and pray. Faithfully telling God what I'm going through, and asking humbly that if He can provide this for me. I worry about so many things everyday, if I can change my worries, into coming into God's presence through prayer, just talking to Him. Then my attention would be towards God.
Dear God,
Thank you for this scripture. You taught me something new today. Everytime that I have a concern, I should pray to you. I need to tell you what I'm going through. You said in Your word that you would always provide. I pray that you'll help me to change my worries into prayer. You know what I'm going through. My friends would not know what I'm going through if I don't tell them, even though I can leak out hints. A friend is always there for their buddy and they got your back. You want me to tell you, because you always have my back but by not telling you, you feel useless. Lord, forgive me for making you into a useless friend. I pray that you'll help me see that you always will be there for me. God, when I'm concerned, I must tell you. You my friend are a God that created everything and can do anything! You aren't useless, but you are love! For all the things you've done so far, I thank you. All those miracles were from you because you have heard my prayers. Jesus, you provided all that I need in this world because through you I have salvation. Thank you God.
In Jesus Name, Amen.
