Deuteronomy 8:3 He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your fathers had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the LORD.
The forefathers of the Isrealites were humbled by God in the desert. God caused them to hunger and fed them with manna because it was to teach them that I do not live on what God provided for me, but the words that comes from the LORD.
I need to know that I don't live daily just on bread but also the word of the LORD.
Dear God,
Forgive me for being deaf. There are days where I'm living and just thinking that you will provide everything for me. I pray that you will help me to humble myself so that I may hear the words coming from you LORD. I give you all the praise for this devotion for it was you who revealed it to me Jesus.
In Jesus Name Amen.
