Maybe Its' My Fault

Deuteronomy 11: 16 Be careful, or you will be enticed to turn away and worship other gods and bow down to them. 17 Then the LORD's anger will burn against you, and he will shut the heavens so that it will not rain and the ground will yield no produce, and you will soon perish from the good land the LORD is giving you.

As the word was being given, this was being addressed to the Israelites. I think when he says "you" he means "you nation" Israel. But if that was true, then if just one person was not careful on obeying God's commands, decrees, and laws then God's anger would burn against Isreal and God would shut down the heavens. The reason why I think it is being addressed to all of Israel is because it says rain and ground. When I think of rain, I think of water falling all over the place. It's not just a sprinkler in someone's yard or anything. The ground will also not produce. If Canaan stop flowing milk and honey then it would be all gone.

I do not want to be the one who caused God to be angry against. This nation was founded on Biblical principles and I am going to be careful of God's commands, laws, and decrees. This is God's nation.

Dear God,
LORD this is your nation. America is your nation. Hawaii is your state. I pray that you will forgive me and those who weren't careful of your commands, laws, and decrees. I pray that you will turn this whole thing around. Father we do not want to perish. I don't want to perish nor do I want to be the one who caused you to be angry against us. I pray that you will guide every single person in this nation to be holy, righteous, and pure for you God.
In Jesus Name Amen.
