1 John 1:7 "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin."
John is writing that when we share the life, which we have seen and can testify of it, then we need to proclaim it to others. The reason being is so that they may also have fellowship with us and the purpose of this fellowship is to bring others to walk in the light. When I testify of this life, the Holy Spirit can work in those who hear me, and they may turn from the darkness that they walk in.
I who have experienced the life that God has breathed into my own life, needs to testify according to the eternal life. From whom does the eternal life appear from? It comes from the Father. God is light. I cannot testify of the life if I walk in darkness because that would mean that I have no truth and therefore if my testimony is false, I am a liar.
God,
May I see the life. I ask Lord that you will let it appear to me and that I will be able to testify and proclaim the eternal life to the other men who are struggling through that deadness that I've went through. You have so much life and so God I ask that you will let me experience many areas of the life that comes from you. God may I become a powerful instrument to be used by you. That means to kill my flesh, lay down my pride, and to even suffer for your name then let it happen. God you want me to be apart of something bigger and to become extraordinary. God if I have to walk on water then let me do it by faith and give all the glory to you. Lord I am like Peter, I do not know how to swim, yet if I know you are on the shore then I am willing to leap out into the ocean, distant to the shore. God I believe I will beat the boat and the powers of the wind that pushes it. Father please teach me how to do greater things for you and in your name.
Amen.
