Most of us have heard the phrase "His mercy are new every morning!" through somekind of worship or praise song, and the Bible even says that. What it means is that God doesn't hold on to anything. Whenever we sin, and if He gets mad, God isn't going to be that way the next morning. That means, everyday God is willing to forgive you.
So that must mean, when we ask God for forgiveness, we need to be the same like God. Everyday is a new day, what's done yesterday is in the past. We don't need to dwell on it and stay worried on the choices we've made and things that crossed our path. Let's be a new person everyday. God's given us mercy, everyday. Let's rejoice on that!
