Right now, I don't have my Bible.
As I went into my sister's room, I notice my bird's cage. I decided to go and check out how he's doing. I took off the curtains and looked at him. He was on the floor of the cage, and I wondered why. I check his birds seeds, but it was full. I then checked his water, and he had no water at all. I took out the water container, along with Yellow and went to the bathroom to refill it. He was so thristy. Ususally, he would be scared of the faucet, but as I turned it on, and placed the container under the running water, he was so thristy that he wasn't fully scare of it. I then watched him drink water, his beak touching the water, as his tongue licks the surface of it.
I told my bird, "I'm thirsty too." but then I thought to myself. I wondered what it would be like if I had the power to rebuke temptation, to not get tempted at all. As we read in the New Testament, Jesus was tempted. Jesus resisted and rebuked the temptation. For Satan to tempt God, He must have found something Jesus favors. Satan tempt us with things that we desire. Still Jesus rebuked him, and that's all He did. He used the scripture against Satan. We can do that too. Jesus is there, His name has power. His word has power. He can protect us from temptation. God uses trials and temptation to build us up.
