Psalm 84: 2 My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the LORD; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.
To me, this is a true statment. There's always going to be a reminder in my heart where I want to return back to the place where I had a powerful experience with God. In His peace, it felt like heaven on earth. Especially during the Churches encounter. As I think about it now, I can move away from my parents, but I can never move away from this world as long as I live. And there are plenty of times where I think that my life just sucks because of many things. But one thing that made it the best was when God made it feel like heaven was on earth.
So how can I keep away from from God? I always think of the negative over the positive. But what I need to do is start focusing on what happened in my encounter with God. When I start getting choke homework from school, things start going against me, and etc. I need to take a step back so I won't lose myself stress, and whatever this world is throwing against me.
Dear God,
I pray that you'll draw me closer to you. Help me to know that you are there, especially when I take you for granted because that's when I'll get careless. But when the times are getting harder, help me to remember that you'll help me pull through. Your yoke is lighter than mines.
In Jesus Name Amen
