17 And the crowd began pleading with Jesus to go away and leave them alone.
Jesus casted out Legion from a demon possessed man and Legion entered a herd of 2,000 pigs, which all drowned themselves in the water and died. So the villagers came to Jesus and begged Him to go away. Jesus ended up going away.
What if the villagers all begged Him to stay? What if my community all begged God to come? What if Honolulu begged God to live here? Jesus pretty much saved them, and I wish these villagers stayed so I can read how Jesus started to do many more miracles and saving more souls.
Dear God,
I pray for my community. Lord Jesus if they all begged you to stay; they would be on their knees and crying out to you! Father, I pray that one day, all of us would get on our knees to beg you to stay. Don't ever leave us O'Lord! We can't live without you, Jesus. You are the one who sustains us. You sustain me! I can't live without you, Jesus! If I begged you to stay with me, would you set the world aside for me? You are the treasure that I seek and you are my strength Lord Jesus. Please stay with me. Never let me go, Lord Jesus.
