Common Ground

1 Corinthians 9: 22 When I am with those who are weak, I share their weakness, for I want to bring the weak to Christ. Yes, I try to find common ground with everyone, doing everything I can to save some. 23 I do everything to spread the Good News and share in its' blessings.

Paul's strategy to reach out was to find some common ground with all of those people, doing everything he can to spread the Good News and share in it's blessings.

I should find common ground with the people I am with. The point in finding the common ground is apart of doing everything I can to spread the Good News and share in its' blessings.

Dear God,
When I am with people who are hurting, I pray that I will hurt too. When I am with people who are suffering, I am suffering too. This scripture is not saying if I am among drug addicts, then I need to be one. No this scripture is saying that I need to stand up and lead them. I need to encourage and uplift them. I too suffer with them, but I am still with you. Even in those times, the joy of the Lord is my strength. Let them see and wonder why the heck am I still with you when we both are going through the same troubles. People would die for a cause, not a lie. Let the connection between me and you shine to them so they too can connect to you. Thank you God for showing this scripture to me because I need to start finding common grounds with the people at my school.
In Jesus Name Amen.
