Fear and Walking

2 Chronicles 6:²⁹ "and when a prayer or plea is made by any of your people Israel—each one aware of his afflictions and pains, and spreading out his hands toward this temple- ³⁰ then hear from heaven, your dwelling place. Forgive, and deal with each man according to all he does, since you know his heart (for you alone know the hearts of men), ³¹ so that they will fear you and walk in your ways all the time they live in the land you gave our fathers."

Solomon is praying that God will hear the prayers or pleas of his people. And that God will answers them with mercy and how much heart each men does, so that they will learn to fear and walk in all of God's ways.

I need to fear and walk in God's ways when he hears my prayers and pleas. Each time I pray for my afflictions and pains, I need to spread out my hands toward his temple because spreading out my hands is symbolic of surrendering to God.

Dear God,
Lord you said it in your words that you when you hear my prayers or pleas then you will answer with mercy and in accordance of my heart. I pray that you will see this servant's heart. That when I pray for people, it will be because of the love of Jesus. Let my prayers be answered so it benefits others rather than myself but only let me benefit it by fearing and walking in your ways as I see you move.
