Standing firm in the end of the age.

Matthew 24: ⁹"Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. ¹⁰At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, ¹¹and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. ¹²Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, ¹³but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. ¹⁴And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

That's really surprising to hear because Jesus is saying that we will be persecuted and put to death. He is telling us that this is the sign of the end of the age. Many people will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other! The love of most will grow cold!

But Jesus said "he who stands firm to the end will be saved." and I want to be saved. I will stand firm to the end.

Dear God,
Lord I pray that I will stand firm on your solid rock, Jesus. Word of God fill my thoughts because when these times come, I need your word to help me pull through. God I pray that I will keep hidden your word in my heart and ready to pull it up when the time comes. I pray that I will be a leader in times like these, and just keep your disciples in solid faith of you. Lord may I be a living sacrifice for you and if I should die I pray that my death will help others come to believe in you Jesus!
