1 Kings 10:21 All King Solomon's goblets were gold, and all the household articles in the Palace of the Forest of Lebanon were pure gold. Nothing was made of silver, because silver was considered of little value in Solomon's days.
King Solomon had the highest value back in his days. Nothing was made of silver because it was considered of little value back then.
In a similar way, when I go to the House of God, nothing should be made of little value. For my King should have the finest in the land, in the world, in all of the nations. I am a living-sacrifices, giving all my efforts into the Lord's work. Maybe he will ask me to build this, or buy that, or do this. I want to make sure my King receives the gold.
Dear God,
You are my King. You are the Lord of Lords, the King of Heaven. Your majesty, may I give you the finest in all parts of the world. When you ask me to do this, build this, or buy that then may you receive the finest gold. But don't let me touch the gold, for I might become prideful from the glory and honor but let me be humble in obedience to your will.
In Jesus Name Amen.
