Psalm 97: 10 Let those who love the LORD hate evil,
for he guards the lives of his faithful ones
and delivers them from the hand of the wicked.
Many of my friends say they love the Lord. But we all need to hate evil. I need to hate evil. I want God to keep guarding my friends and family. I cannot protect them, but God can. This is so out of context, but it encourages me. Life is changing and getting harder. But God is always there, the same in the past, present and future. I am wordless when it comes to thinking about this for God never fails at protecting those I love dearly.
I need to hate evil. I need to tell my friends to hate evil because God guards his faithful ones and delivers them from the hands of the wicked.
Dear God,
These times and season for me is too cliche. I always end back here worrying about my friends. You know that I am the type who likes to lead people and when my friends spread far away from me I worry too much. But it's time for your faithful ones to change. Let us hate evil because your my God. Your the one who guards us and delivers us. Lord teach me to encourage your faithful ones to hate evil. But don't let me be a hypocrite about it! Let me hate evil, and keep me exercising the gift of discernment because God if I hate evil, then I might just save my friends for nobody wants to live a life of damnation, bondage, brokenness, cursed, and other things! They surely are looking for a better life, and that life is found in you God!
In Jesus Name Amen!
