Exodus 8:22 But this time I will spare the region of Goshen, where my people live. No flies will be found there. Then you will know that I am the Lord and that I am present even in the heart of your land.
The Lord sent a swarm of flies into Egypt, but this time he spare the region where the Hebrews lived. The swarm of flies invaded the Egyptian houses, covered the ground and was just everywhere! What a mess and how stressful it must had been! The flies were a curse from God. But what if my house was the only area where God did not curse? I know people who have been cursed. But when people see why curses has not affected me, they will know God's in control.
I need to stay on God's blessings so people will know that God is the Lord and present in the heart of people's lives.
Dear God,
Father I pray that you will keep me curse free. In fact bless me and bless me more so that people will know you are the Lord and that you are present in the heart of their lives! God may you become so real in my life! Let me be the light in the darkness. Let people take notice of me and let them know that surely it's the LORD who is in the heart of this. Thank you God that you will protect and bless your people!
