Insideout the Scriptures!

Acts 18:28 He refuted the Jews with powerful arguments in public debate. Using the Scriptures, he explained to them that Jesus was the Messiah.

Apollos was using the scriptures to explain that Jesus is the Messiah.

I barely know any scriptures to tell how Jesus is the Messiah, but all I know is what Jesus did! I need to study deeper into the scriptures, because the Word of God is the truth and before all reveals everything, like how Jesus is the Messiah.

Dear God,
I need to study the scriptures more! I need to understand the Word of God. Your words are the truth, because you are God of all and Lord of all. You have made everything, and everything lies in your hands and last only a breath. Jesus how can I explain to the world that you are God if I don't know the scriptures? Father I pray that you will give me the willingness to study the scripture to back you up! It is like what Danford said about the test. I may know it, but most of the time I cannot past the test because I do not understand it, and I do not know it. All I do is know it good enough to where I think I understand it. Lord I need to start knowing your word from the inside out. Just knowing what chapter it is in, is not good enough.
