Obedience is better than Sacfrice.

Zechariah 14:21 In fact, every cooking pot in Jerusalem and Judah will be holy to the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. All who come to worship will be free to use any of these pots to boil their sacrifices. And on that day there will no longer be traders in the Temple of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.

When I go to church, there are so many objects around. Prayer pillows, water fountains, monitor, instruments and whatever. But in Zechariah 14:20 it says EVEN these items will be sacred. The holy and sacred ground of the Sanctuary, and all of that. But if I come to worship God, then I can use anything that brings glory to Him. Sacfrices that shows God is my Lord, sacfrices that brings glory onto Him.

When I come to church, I should make sacfrices that give God glory. Instead of drinking water for my own sake, but I could even share the water with others who thirst! My sacfrices needs to bring glory to God.

Dear God,
Thank you for this scripture. Sacfrices that bring you glory counts. I should be cooking to feed others, rather than myself first. But obedience is better than sacfrice. I pray that I will first be obedient to you! Lord help me to be obedient more, than sacfricing my time to reach out to others. Your word says to make disciples, I should be obedient to that and giving everything in obedience.
