Acts 12: 11 Peter finally came to his senses. “It’s really true!” he said. “The Lord has sent his angel and saved me from Herod and from what the Jewish leaders had planned to do to me!”
The church was earnestly praying for Peter, and God heard the prayers of the church and sent His angel to rescue Peter from prison.
I need to start praying because God will handle the rest. All I need to do is request, and God will send His angels to take care of the request.
Dear God,
I'm not sure right now, but I pray that you will answer this thought. Jesus I keep thinking that you can't make changes if the people in that town did not have the faith in you. Instead they wanted you to go away. But right now I wonder why the church was praying earnestly for Peter, when the girl Rhoda was telling everybody that Peter was at the door. Even though they believed, they insisted that it was his angel, meaning he probably died. Just what do you mean by earnestly praying? All I have to do is want something in our prayers? Pray with the right motives? God whatever it is, I pray that I will be compassionate to pray. If a problem occurs, may I use as a passion to pray for that person. I pray that I'll be atleast faithful enough to bring it to you and know that you answer all requests. Thank you God that we just need to bring it to you for you to answer it.
