Luke 19:
13 Before he left, he called together ten of his servants and divided among them ten pounds of silver, saying, ‘Invest this for me while I am gone.’
20 “But the third servant brought back only the original amount of money and said, ‘Master, I hid your money and kept it safe. 21 I was afraid because you are a hard man to deal with, taking what isn’t yours and harvesting crops you didn’t plant.’
If I look at my life, God already gave me everything I need ever since I was borned. But this scripture says to invest what the master has given you. Sometimes when God comes back, it is just hard to deal with God because we make stupid choices like blaming God for everything that went wrong. But you know, we ARE His servants, how can we blame GOD when it's us who is not obeying the MASTER?
What I should do is obey God and invest the kingdom in this world. I know when I die one day, and I am standing before God. He is going to ask me what have I done for him. If I say like what the two servants did, "I putted your investment to work and got 10x or 5x more". He's going to tell me "Well done! I entrusted you with the small things, now here I will entrust you with the bigger things."
Dear God,
I pray that I will make the right choices as I invest for you. I pray that I'll invest the riches and glory of your kingdom so that in this world, your kingdom will become so real. I pray that I will not be a unresponsibile servant, but a responsible servant that is obedient to your command. I thank you for this scripture, and I pray that I will do as this scripture tells me to.
In Jesus Name Amen
